From the initial launching, the Army's JUPITER C and JUPITER missiles participated in an extensive scientific
satellite program. In fact, JUPITER 13, with primates Able and Baker aboard, marked the successful
beginning of this nation's life-in-space program. A detailed listing of the over-all Army contributions to the
